Whether you're a veteran rider or a first-timer, their experienced staff will help you reach your goal. The 85-acre facility includes two heated indoor arenas and four outdoor rings along with pastures and trails. Group, private, and semi-private lessons are available for all ages. River Road Horse Farm

For the owner and caretaker of River Road Horse Farm, horses and riding are literally their life. Both live on-site so they're easily accessible and stay responsive to the needs of the farm, including horses and riders. Owner Mark Palik, who purchased the farm in December 2011, is continually upgrading the facility to provide a superior experience for guests. One recent change was the addition of a second indoor arena. Lessons are offered for riders starting at age 5, so kids can get started on a lifelong appreciation of horsemanship.

Stable Solutions Farm

12381 Easton St. NE, Alliance, OH 44601

Loree Stubblefield, owner of Stable Solutions Farm, knows firsthand how powerful the connection between people and horses can be. After Loree's father was stricken with a brain injury and her daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition, she made the decision to run the farm while caring for her family. Today, Stable Solutions is known for its many equine therapy programs, which benefit those with special physical, emotional, and social needs. Guests also love the miniature Australian shepherds raised by Loree's family, who are frequently wandering the grounds.

Sid Griffith Equestrian Center

7380 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026

The story of Sid Griffith, founder of the popular equestrian center than bears his name, is something of a legend. At the age of 11, when his parents refused to indulge his early love of horses, Sid began working at a dude ranch in order to earn riding time. After purchasing his first horse with money from his 16th birthday, Sid went on to an illustrious career riding, showing, and training horses. These days, Sid remains active running his full-service equestrian center along with his wife and their youngest daughter, an award-winning rider in her own right.

Field of Dreams

1841 Unbridled Way, Blacklick, OH 43004

You would be forgiven for thinking Field of Dreams is a baseball diamond. The name refers to owner Jennifer Hansen's childhood dream to own a horse. After graduating from law school at Ohio State University, Jennifer finally got her wish and wanted to share the experience with other kids who also thought their dream was unattainable. In addition to offering traditional riding programs, Field of Dreams is the home of Dreams on Horseback, a non-profit organization founded by Jennifer that provides therapeutic riding programs.

Horse-N-Round Fun, LLC

Mount Sterling, OH 43143

Picture yourself on the back of a magnificent horse, enjoying the serenity of nature as you leave the rest of civilization behind. Horse-N-Round Fun, LLC conducts trail rides from 30 minutes to four hours for riders ages 10 and up. You'll pass through peaceful wooded areas, cross gentle streams, and share the space with wild turkeys, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. If you have a specific trail you want to ride, Horse-N-Round Fun can also bring the horses to you. Hand-led trail rides are available for youngsters ages 4 and up so they don't have to be left out. Plans are in the works to offer riding lessons and other services, so watch their website for news.

Muddy Water Equestrian Park

East Fork Stables

2215 Snyder Rd., Batavia, OH 45103

Horses are definitely a family affair for George Wisbey, owner of East Fork Stables. As chief of the Cincinnati Fire Department, George's great-grandfather trained the department's horses and later founded the first retirement farm for the fire horses. George, his father, and his grandfather all had successful careers training horses for racing and movies, and his wife Judy runs the summer horse camp. East Fork Stables includes an indoor arena, a riding track around a lake, and 50 miles of trails to accommodate whatever experience you're looking for.

A Horse with No Name

Race horses are known for their quirky, colorful names. If you owned a horse, what name would you choose?

Wood-Fired Pizza - Cincinnati, OH - Cutler Real Estate

Yes, you know wood-fired pizza tastes incredible, but did you know it can also be healthier for you? Thanks to shorter cooking times due to the higher heat of wood-fired ovens, veggies, and other ingredients retain more of their nutrients. Now you have another good reason to enjoy a tasty pie from one of these top wood-fired pizza joints around Cincinnati

Four-legged family members are welcome on the outdoor patio. Strong's is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Fireside Pizza

773 E. McMillan St., Cincinnati, OH 45206

The name of Fireside Pizza has a significance that goes beyond a reference to the pies made in their wood-burning oven. In the late 1800s, the brick building that houses the pizzeria was constructed as a fire station. Abandoned in 1976, Fire Co. 16 fell into disrepair until the mid-2010s, when owner Mike Marschman teamed up with the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation to restore it. Fireside's menu includes traditional and gourmet combos as well as a rotating selection of pies using seasonal ingredients. Hours are 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Incline Public House

2601 W. 8th St., Cincinnati, OH 45204

With a focus on fresh, scratch-made food, Incline Public House uses its in-house smoker and wood oven to turn out exquisite pizzas full of flavor. Customers rave about the crust, which gets just the right amount of crispy crunch, making it a perfect vehicle for any combination of toppings. Perched atop Price Hill, Incline Public House is so well known for its sweeping views of downtown Cincinnati that they feature a 24-hour live stream on their website. Stop in on Tuesdays and get a featured gourmet pie and two pints of beer for only $20. Incline Public House is open 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily except Sunday, when doors close at 8 p.m.

Catch-a-Fire Pizza

3301 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45209

Breakfast pizza? No, it's not just in your dreams. Each weekend, Catch-a-Fire Pizza offers wood-fired breakfast pies such as Goettup, Stand Up. This uniquely Cincinnati variation includes Glier's goetta along with peppadew, caramelized onion, four cheeses, garlic butter, olive oil, and a cracked egg. Located in the taproom of MadTree Brewing, Catch-a-Fire also serves a selection of snacks each Friday and Saturday night. Hours are 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday.

Betta's Italian Oven

3764 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45212

How romantic and welcoming is the ambiance at Betta's Italian Oven? Over the past 18 years, it's been the site of countless first dates and more than one marriage proposal. Betta's authentic wood-fired pies have earned the title of "Best Pizza in Queen City" from Cincinnati Magazine. If you like your food with a bit of heat, try the signature Pizza Diavolo, topped with pepperoni, spicy sausage, and homemade Diavolo sauce. Hours are 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Via Vite

520 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH 45202

Pizza at Via Vite after skating at Fountain Square is becoming a winter tradition in Cincinnati. But with the largest open-air dining space in the downtown area, Via Vite is also a perfect spot for summer dining. Owner and chef Cristian Pietoso, a native of Florence, declares that Via Vite's pizzas and other dishes are "as close as it gets to true Italian food without taking a plane." Be sure to save room for some decadent dark chocolate crème brûlée, a customer favorite. Via Vite is open 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Reservations are recommended.

Delicio Coal Fired Pizza

8150 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45243

A little-known bit of pizza trivia: The first pies served in the United States back in 1905 were baked in coal-burning ovens. Delicio Coal Fired Pizza has revived this traditional but painstaking, method to create pies with a unique, smoky flavor. Their oven uses anthracite, a clean-burning type of coal that produces even higher heat than a wood-burning oven. Pizzas come in two sizes, personal and shareable, with creative specialties such as Cheddar Mac and Bacon Pickle. Pair your pie with some craft beer or wine from their partner, Hoppin' Vines. Hours are 3 - 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, noon - 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 9 p.m. Sunday.

Joe's Pizza Napoli

507 Chamber Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45150

Joe's Pizza Napoli makes no secret of the magic behind their pizzas. The home page of their website features a background picture of logs for the wood-fired oven. Joe and his family love the Neapolitan style of pizza because the thin crust and modest amounts of cheese allow the toppings to take center stage. Minimalists go for the Marinara, a simple tomatoes-only pie, or you can get a double-dose of Italiano with the Lasagna, topped with meatballs, sausage, and four kinds of cheese. Joe's is open 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, noon - 9 p.m. Saturday, and noon - 8 p.m. Sunday.

A Tavola Bar + Trattoria

7022 Miami Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45243

"A tavola!" is how moms in Italy call their family to the dinner table. You'll find that same warm and comfortable familiarity at A Tavola Bar + Trattoria. The owners want you to feel as though you're dining at home, but with the benefit of someone else doing the cooking. Even meat lovers will enjoy the best-selling fig & prosciutto pizza with arugula and fontina cheese. Don't have a wood-fired oven at home? You can still serve A Tavola's at your own dinner table with their make-your-own-pizza kits. Hours are 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Pizza Is Always the Right Answer

You can have only one topping on your pizza. What's your go-to ingredient?

Northeast Ohio Dog Parks - Cutler Real Estate

Visiting a dog park with your dog is such a lovely want to enjoy nature. Your dog can socialize with other pups, and you can socialize with other dog owners. If you're in Northeast Ohio, either permanently or to look at homes for sale, then you're in luck. This area has so many lovely dog parks you can visit. Here are a few top options.

City of Mentor Dog Park

6647 Hopkins Rd., Mentor OH, 44060

If you happen to be in Mentor, stop and play in this dog park for a while. Throughout the park, you'll find plenty of benches you can rest on. There's also a water fountain, especially for dogs.

City of Mentor Dog Park offers separate off-leash areas for small dogs and large dogs. Stick throwing and Frisbees are not permitted for safety reasons, and dogs must remain leashed, except for in the designated off-leash areas. With the open field and picnic tables, this could be a great place to enjoy a picnic lunch while your dog plays.

Canine Meadow Dog Park

9038 Euclid Chardon Rd., Kirtland OH, 44094

This spacious, 9-acre dog park has separate small dog and large dog areas. It's open daily from sunrise until a half hour past sunrise, so you can visit on your own schedule. There's lots of wide-open space for dogs to run, play, and get rid of their excess energy.

Canine Meadows also offers a swimming area for pups, which is really nice during the heat of summer. All dogs ages 4 months and older are welcome as long as they're up-to-date on vaccinations. Portable restrooms are available on-site for human use.

Lakewood Dog Park

1699 Valley Pkwy. Lakewood OH, 44107

This is another smaller dog park, but don't let the size fool you. The space is well-maintained and a great place for dogs to play. There is a separate area for small dogs, although small dogs are welcome in the larger dog area, too, if their owners prefer it.

Lakewood Dog Park does have a water faucet on-site. The footing is sand, so it does not get overly slippery when wet. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and up-to-date on vaccines, and children must be at least 7 years old to accompany their parents.

Tails 'n Trails Dog Park

841 Page Rd., Aurora OH, 44204

This laid-back little dog park is a great one to stop by for a mid-morning romp. There's a water pump near the entrance where your dog can get a drink, and there are also a few play features, such as a faux fire hydrant. Of course, the park has plenty of comfortable benches for human visitors, too. No pets other than dogs are allowed.

Open during daylight hours, Tails 'n Trails Dog Park has separate small and large dog areas. There's a double-gate setup so owners can safely unleash their dogs prior to entering the off-leash areas. This is a relatively new park, and it's beautifully maintained. Owners are asked to remain in visual sight of their dogs at all times.

Downtown Dog Park

1505 Merwin Ave., Cleveland OH, 44113

If you happen to be in downtown Cleveland, there's no reason to leave the city to find a dog park. This one is a great choice. It has more than 3,500 square feet of fenced-in play space for your dogs. There are even some fun climbing and play structures scattered throughout the space. Waste receptacles throughout the park encourage visitors to keep the space tidy.

Downtown Dog Park is open daily from 8 am - 9 pm. It's open to dogs of all sizes and isn't usually busy mid-day. While your dog plays, you can enjoy a lovely view of the Cuyahoga River, which runs right by the park.

Bow Wow Beach

5027 Stow Rd. Stow OH, 44224

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Rohan (@_rohanwillanswer)

Located on the banks of Silver Springs Lake, this dog park offers more than 7.5 acres of space for dogs to run and play. They can even splash around in the water and cool off in the summer. The lake is regularly tested to ensure safety, and the City of Stowe keeps the area well mowed and maintained.

Bow Wow Beach offers on-site dog washing stations and a separate area for small dogs. The park is open from 8 am until sunset, but is closed on Thursday mornings for maintenance.

Schellin Dog Park

427 Maple St., Wooster OH, 44691

Schellin Dog Park, sometimes known as Wooster Dog Park, is one of the smaller parks on this list. However, it is still natural, beautiful, and well worth a visit. There's plenty of shade from the large trees within the park, along with a nice view of the nearby duck pond.

This dog park has one off-leash area for dogs of all sizes. You can also walk your dog, on a leash, in the larger surrounding area. The trail passes soccer fields and other play spaces.

Cooperation Station Dog Park

1439 OH-305, Cortland OH, 44410

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Bruce (@bruce.the.malamute)

This mid-sized dog park is a great one for dogs who want to run, as there is a lot of open space. There are lots of benches in the open fields, so you can sit and observe your dog's play.

Cooperation Station Dog Park has a pond where dogs can swim, but it is in a separate, gated area, so your dog won't get wet if you don't want them to. There's also a dog washing station, along with water fountains for both dogs and humans. The cleanup area is always well-stocked with poop bags.

Portage Lakes Dog Park

New Franklin OH, 44319

Located within Portage Lakes State Park, this dog park includes an off-leash area that is partially fenced and bound on the other side by water. Dogs can run, play, and cool off in the water on a hot day. Many love jumping off the docks and into the water! Dogs of all sizes share this same space.

This park offers lovely views of boats out on the lake. There are plenty of shade trees, and breezes coming off the lakes also helps keep things cool. After playtime, you can do some more hiking around the state park.

Bark On Over

Which one of these Northeast Ohio dog parks do you plan to visit with your canine companion?
